# Enabling Bulk Actions For Sharing Settings

You can use <a href="/en/gr/42808/">bulk document actions</a> to make changes on up to 1,000 documents at once. This article explains how to use bulk document actions for sharing settings. See <a href="/en/gr/18822/#select">Using Bulk Document Actions</a> for information on how to select documents for editing.

Once enabled, it is only available to users with a security profile that includes the <em>Document: Bulk Update</em> permission. Admins can enable specific bulk document actions from **Admin** > **Settings** > **General Settings**. Select **Edit Document Fields and Sharing Settings** to enable the following:

  * Edit Fields
  * Change Owner
  * Change Coordinator
  * Add User to Role
  * Remove User from Role
