# Enabling Edit Email

<a href="/en/gr/33820/">BEE</a> is MailUp's drag-and-drop editor for responsive design emails. With the **Edit Email** <a href="/en/gr/21270/">web action</a>, you can use BEE to edit email templates in Vault. Before learning about BEE, you should know how to <a href="/en/gr/12080/">set up approved emails</a>.

You must add the **Edit Email** custom <a href="/en/gr/12339/">user action</a> on any document lifecycle state for the **Email Template** document type where the action may be available. To enable this action:

  1. From the document lifecycle state's **User Actions** tab, click **Edit**.
  2. Under _Allow the following actions_, select **Web Action.**
  3. Select **Edit Email**.
  4. Click **Save**.
