# Configuring Preview Email

Once you create your _Email Template_-type document, you can use the Litmus integration to generate a set of previews for your template. Litmus displays the Veeva HTML rendition of your email template on several devices, operating systems, and browsers in Vault. With this email preview, you can see how your email appears on various email clients.

To [preview email templates with Litmus](/en/lr/36971/), an Admin needs to configure a user action on any state in the _Approved Email_ lifecycle that you'd like to preview email templates in.

In the _Approved Email_ lifecycle, [create a new user action](/en/lr/12339/), _Preview Email_, and provide a label. The instructions above use **Generate Preview Email**.
