# Enabling Edit Email

[BEE](/en/lr/33820/) is MailUp's drag-and-drop editor for responsive design emails. With the **Edit Email** [web action](/en/lr/21270/), you can use BEE to edit email templates in Vault. Before learning about BEE, you should know how to [set up approved emails](/en/lr/12080/).

You must add the **Edit Email** custom [user action](/en/lr/12339/) on any document lifecycle state for the **Email Template** document type where the action may be available. To enable this action:

  1. From the document lifecycle state's **User Actions** tab, click **Edit**.
  2. Under _Allow the following actions_, select **Web Action.**
  3. Select **Edit Email**.
  4. Click **Save**.
