# Distributing Content to China

When distributing content to CLM or Engage, Vault uses the Global CDN by default. To improve load times and overall performance, Vault can replicate content distributed to China to a China-hosted CDN.

This Vault configuration is used by <a class="external-link " href="https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Multichannel/CLM/InitialConfig/ConfiguringCLM/ChinaCDN.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Veeva CRM<i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a>.

To configure this feature, you can enable the _Use China CDN_ [shared document field](/en/lr/4884/). Users can then use this field to indicate the content for replication in the _Multichannel Properties_ section of the [Doc Info page](/en/lr/9753/).

## Configuring the _Use China CDN_ Field

To enable the _Use China CDN_ field:

  1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Document Fields > Shared Fields** and open the _Use China CDN_ field.
  2. Click the **Edit** button.
  3. Select **Active** in the **Status** drop-down.
  4. Click the **Save** button.
