Configuring the Application Sections
Add the Work Items and Summary application sections to the Journal Submission, Congress Submission, and General Publication action layouts under Admin > Configuration > Objects > Project > Layouts. Once enabled, the Summary application section is viewable when at least one Work Item is associated with a Project.
Configuring Project Templates
Configure Project templates for Publication Plans by navigating to Publications > Publications Admin > Templates and selecting a project template, such as a Journal Submission, Congress Submission, General Submission, Manuscript, Abstract, Presentation, Poster, or Milestone. You can tag each template with a combination of standard and custom metadata, such as Project Type or Document Type, to specify when it is used. You can also include one or more Work Items on the template, but you must indicate which Work Item acts as the validation trigger to calculate the Baseline Start Date, Baseline End Date, Baseline Submission Date, and Baseline Publication Date.
