    • Use of the Vault Mobile App is free of charge. All you need are your Vault credentials to log in. If you use Single-Sign On (SSO) to log into Vault, your Vault administrators will need to configure SSO for the mobile app as well in order for you to log in.
  • How do I download the Vault Mobile App?

  • Can I use the Vault Mobile App offline (without internet connection)?
    • No. The Vault Mobile App requires an internet connection to function. No features are available if the device is offline.
  • What if I lose my mobile device?
    • Notify your Vault administrator to ensure that push notifications are disabled for the lost device.
  • How often do I need to update the Vault Mobile App?
    • The Vault Mobile App release schedule follows Vault’s release schedule. The mobile app is always compatible with the most recent General Release Vault version. By default, your phone should update your mobile app to the most recent version available in the app stores. If you have changed those default settings to require a manual update of your mobile applications, you may want to learn more about supported app versions.
  • Is the Vault Mobile App secure?
    • The Vault Mobile App uses the same security model as the Vault Platform and thus all interactions between the app and the Vault Platform are secured by the users’ security permissions. Additionally, all network traffic between the app and the Vault Platform is securely encrypted.
  • Can I use the Vault Mobile App on my tablet?
    • Technically, you can download and use the Vault Mobile App on an iPad. However, the app is optimized and tested for use on a smartphone only. You may experience issues or incompatibilities when running the app on a tablet. You cannot download the app onto an Android tablet.
  • Is the Vault Mobile app validated?
    • The app goes through the same validation process as all other Vault applications. The validation documentation is published with the other compliance documents.
  • Is there a pre-release version of the app available for testing?
    • Currently, there is no pre-release version of the app available for customers.
